Bondi Sands Review ♡

I hope everyone is having a great week!

I'm blogging about Bondi Sands today... something different compared to the usual makeup product reviews, but as I mentioned in previous message here on my blog, I am introducing fashion and all things beauty onto my webpage.. not just basing it all around makeup.

I have used Bondi Sands for around 2 months now, and I thought it was time to give my opinion on it for those who are actually interested in reading and looking for a tan on the market in Australia.
The top brands seem to be Loving Tan, Bondi Sands and St Tropez. I have only used Bondi Sands, so I cannot compare to the other brands, but I am loving the product!

For those who don't know, I am very pale however have quite dark features (hair, eyebrows, dark blue eyes) so I believe that I honestly look healthier and more fit when I have applied a tan. The green-based colour contours my body perfectly and it stays on my skin really well! It also doesn't seem to become patchy, it more or less just fades and wears off with time. I use the Bondi Sands self-tanning mit ($10.00AUD) to apply the product, and I purchased the foam for approx $20.00AUD.

I have applied the product directly to my skin after exfoliating in the shower, and also applied it when I didn't exfoliate. Both times worked great, however when I exfoliated I noticed a difference in the layout (it wasn't as streaky). As I mentioned, I am EXTREMELY white, and so I use the Self-Tanning Foam in Light-Medium just because I feel that the darker formula may not suit me. I think the foam is super easy to apply, and it blends out really nice and doesn't become 'stuck' in places. It has no smell, applies really dark so you can see where you have applied it, and it stays on for about 5-10 days (by the end it is wearing off nicely on my skin).

I apply a VERY generous layer all around my body with the mit and leave it on for around 2 hours. I then hop in the shower and just let warm water soak my body. I then pat my skin dry with a towel when I get out. I am also super impressed with the way it doesn't transfer onto my sheets and lounge etc. Although when applied, I stand/walk around for 15mins and then allow myself to sit down or whatever, as I probably don't want to risk a transfer of colour (even though the colour on material is pink when transferred from the tanning foam!).

Everyones skin is different, so obviously different products work for different people. I can't wait to try out Loving Tan and I may possibly do a review on the two products and a comparison! I believe that Bondi Sands foam works great for me and I will continue to use it to give myself a nice glow, especially in these summer months here in Australia. I can recommend that you keep moisturised whilst having a tan on your body, so that it prolongs the wear, and also makes it fade more subtly, compared to becoming patchy in places.

Hope this helped
